With grief and life coaching, we will build the bridge between the past and the future.
Interesting idea isn’t it; creating a bridge between the past and the future as a way to cope with your grief? After a loved one has died it feels like your life has ended. That is the point though. The life you once knew with your loved one whether a child, spouse or parents has ended. You can’t go back into the past. In the past your loved one was with you enjoying life. Now only you face the future. Even thinking about the future can be overwhelming. This is where many people get stuck when grieving in the middle between the past and the future. Grief Life Coaching can be the bridge the past and your future.
Grief Life Coaching is directed your agenda. At the first session, we will talk about your goals in your grief. One goal might be to develop a relationship with your loved one through memorials. Another goal might be deciding how you are going to honor your loved one. In between sessions you will work towards your goals whatever they may be. All sessions are over the phone between you and I without interruptions, and at a time dependent on your schedule. Throughout this process you will be supported with an open heart, and listening ears. Having struggled with my own grief over the death of my son I understand grieving must be on your schedule, and no one else’s. The sessions can be weekly, biweekly, or monthly. I ask you to commit to a period three months of working with me. I offer a free 20 minute session to determine if my approach to Grief Life Coaching is a fit for you.
